Event Overview

We often hear from finance and accounting professionals who are thinking about what comes next, how to grow beyond their current role, what the CFO path really looks like, and how others have navigated that transition.

This event is our way of bringing the community together to learn, share, and connect in an open, relaxed setting. Whether you’re actively preparing for a CFO role or simply curious about the journey, we hope this event feels like a space for honest conversation and meaningful connections.

This session will be conducted in both English and Japanese.

Speaker

Nobuharu Aoshima

Aoshima-san brings extensive leadership experience as a CFO and Finance Director at global organizations including Amazon, Henry Schein, Microsoft, and P&G. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in developing high-performing finance teams and mentoring professionals who have gone on to become CFOs themselves.

In addition to his corporate leadership, he is an active mentor and trainer at Amazon and other organizations.

At the “Becoming a CFO: Roadmap for Finance Managers” event, Aoshima-san will share his personal journey into CFO roles, the skills and mindset that proved most critical along the way, and the lessons he wishes he had learned earlier in his career.
